Course on Agent-based Modeling for Public Policy at the 2010 APSA annual meeting

Three CSI researchers will present a half-day short course on CAS and ABM for public policy, at the 2010 American Political Science Association (APSA) annual meeting. Mirsad Hadzikadic, Liz Johnson, and Ted Carmichael will lead this session, which will cover the basics for conceptualizing, implementing, and analyzing policy simulation models. Core concepts, such as agents, emergence, energy, information, and adaptation will be covered, in the context of the NetLogo simulation environment. More information on this event can be found here.
