CAS lecture series – Complex Performances in and between Brains; a talk by Dr. Mark Pizzato. Friday, March 26th at 10:00 am, in Woodward 338

How do ego and group conflicts emerge (or how could they be modeled) from the complex theatrics of the brain's anatomy and its motivated behaviors? This talk will draw on neurology, cognitive psychology, and psychoanalytic cultural theory to consider various functions in different brain areas that relate to the "staging of consciousness" by unconscious agents--in each of us and in social performance contexts.]
