Farah Tokmic, M.A.

Farah Tokmic is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Software and Information Systems at UNC Charlotte. She received her bachelor's degree in Molecular Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and her master’s degree in Graduate Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine. Her research interests include designing and managing health care as a complex adaptive system and utilizing system dynamic methods to study the behavior of health systems. Currently, she is a graduate research assistant of Dr. Hadzikadic, working on the Stigma Index project that aims to quantify the impact of stigma towards the health quality of individuals suffering from behavioral health illnesses.
